Nossi Student Wins T-Shirt Design Contest
Fifth semester artist Cory Stacey won a design competition held by Read To Succeed, a community literacy collaborative that promotes reading, with an emphasis on family literacy.

The project was to design a tee shirt for a one-day high school writing conference, in which teens participate in workshops and panel discussions with professionals in the writing and creative arts industry. The design needed to incorporate the words "collaborate, create, and celebrate."

This non-profit initiative supports literacy programs and fosters awareness of the importance of reading. The challenge was posed to businesses and volunteers in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County.

Great food, cool bands, super people all gathered by the river and rock'ed out!
Of course we did it artistically! You know it.

Billy Block "Locals Only" Contest

For the first time in Nossi history students are competing in a logo contest for local music artist Billy Block.

Billy Block, host of Locals Only, Nashville's first and only radio show for local, unsigned country artists on 103 WKDF, has an opportunity exclusively for Nossi College of Art students.

Billy Block and Best Buy are bringing Local's Only Live Performances to area Best Buy stores every week and they are looking for a snappin' hot logo that will go on all their desplays and marketing materials.

What better place to go and do all their one stop shopping but at Nossi College of Art.

With hundreds of talented artists in the making you can't go wrong!
